Brief

A renovation of an Edwardian home to suit a family with twin girls – the brief was to have fun with colour and texture.

Response

We took our colour cues from the original features of the home, the stained glass window inspiring the tones throughout. And we added shades of purple and pink for a playful yet sophisticated feminine touch. Retaining the beautiful heritage elements was important – the archways and pressed metal ceilings maintain a sense of nostalgia, and we created a contemporary rear to the home that juxtaposed with the traditional façade.
